Chefs write a lot.  More than folks would think.  If your kid is thinking about becoming the next famous TV chef, let them know now that they need to quit fooling around and pay attention in school.  It all adds up!

Menus?  Sure!  But also complete descriptions of each dish so waitstaff can explain any questions about the preparation to guests.  A list of ingredients that sales team members can check for potential allergens.   In catering, it's important to prevent everything you can plan for.   Good communication is the first step.

A note to the bride and groom to accompany fruit and cheese plates before the wedding.  A little snack while y'all get dressed.  Enjoy!  Handwritten recipes for friends and family.  Thank yous for clients who gave me an awesome recommendation.
